The Medomak Valley 10&11 Little League baseball all-stars defeated Bucksport 13-12 to stay alive in the State Little League Tournament in Augusta on Aug. 1. Medomak jumped out to a 9-1 lead before Bucksport mounted a comeback bid.
A steady, light rain fell throughout most of the elimination game.
Pitching for Medomak were starter Isaac Simmons (3.1I,5B,1HP,5K,3H,5R), Kyle Smith (1.1I,3K,2H,2R), Cole Winchenbach (2B,1HP), Gabe Lash (.1I,1K,2B,4R), and Aaron Reed (1B,1H,1R).
