Medomak Valley JV softball closed out the season with a perfect 14-0 record last week. The Panthers topped Belfast 13-12 in their season finale. Kacey Montana collected the win (9B,7K,2HP) against Belfast, and Desiree Benner (1H,6K) and Montana (3B,3K) combined in the win over Georges Valley.
Coach Pat Delahanty said he was “very pleased with the team effort this year and the positive attitude the young ladies brought to each and every contest.”
Hitting for the week (two game totals) were Maria Ennamorati 4 hits, Kasey Doolan, Taylor Simmons, and Bridget Miller 3 hits, McKenzie Belcher, Charlene Wilbur, Abby McGuire, Montana and Alyssa Griggs 2 hits each, Missy Philbrook, Jasmine Kauffman, Danni Hunt, Greta Brown and Benner one hit each.
