The three wrestling teams in Lincoln County met at Lincoln Academy on Dec. 11. Medomak Valley pinned down wins over Lincoln Academy (48-24) and Boothbay (48-27), and Lincoln beat Boothbay 37-36 in a tie breaker that went to I (9th criteria).
113- Rayanne Leach (MV) pinned Nick LaBonte (BB) in 47 seconds and won by forfeit.
120- Daegan Poland (MV) won two matches by forfeit.
126 – Michael Baty (LA) pinned Riley Spear (BB) in 28 seconds. Cole Ashmore (MV) pinned Baty in 1:45 and Spear in 48 seconds.
132 – Morgan Achorn (LA) won by forfeit against Boothbay. Gage Modery pinned Achorn in 4:52.
138 – Alec Young (LA) pinned Jude Alamo (BB) in 2:43, and Jared Overlock (MV) in 1:19. Overlock lost to Alamo by 10-5 decision.
145 – Jimmy Benner (LA) pinned Brendon Andrews (BB) in 2:23. Riley McCollett (MV) pinned Benner in 1:14, and Andrews in 1:27.
152 – Quinn Ashmore (MV) pinned Dalton Waltz (LA) in 58 seconds. Gabe Purin (BB) pinned Waltz in 2:31 and Morgan Black (MV) in 1:38.
160 – Howie Carter (BB) pinned Wiscasset independent Logan Grover in 4:36, pinned Samantha Scofield (LA) in 1:48, and was pinned by Quinn Ashmore (MV) in 58 seconds.

182 – Nate Geoffrion (LA) pinned Michael Ripley (BB) in 1:43. Cyril Miller (MV) pinned Geoffrion in 4:35, and Ripley in 44 seconds.

220- Raymond Call (LA) was pinned by defending state champ Antonio Maulolo (BB) in 23 seconds, and by Owen Gilbert (MV) in 36 seconds. Maulolo won by forfeit against Medomak.
285 – Owen Gilbert (MV) pinned Lucas Leighton (BB) in 1:25. Leighton won by forfeit over Lincoln.
In exhibition action, Jonah Vesery (LA) pinned Josiah (BB) in 5:16; PQ Pugh (LA) pinned Morgan Black (MV) in the second period; and Miranda Achorn (LA) pinned Samantha Fowles (MV) in the second period.
Correction
Miranda Achorn (LA-145) pinned her York opponent Shaddie Khobele in 1:36 at the tournament in York on Dec. 7. The LCN reversed the scores, and apologizes for the error.
