The Mariners found rough sailing at home on Jan. 27, as the undefeated Panthers rolled into town and strolled away with 55-51 win. Oceanside pulled within two with three and half minutes to play. Cameron Allaire hit back to back hoops, and Zidane McMurrin sank three of four foul shots to take a 55-48 Panther lead with 22 seconds to play. Sam Atwood hit a 3-pointer for Oceanside with 8.8 seconds to play to cut the lead to four.
Medomak was led by Allaire 24, Brent Stewart 12 (4-3’s), and McMurrin 9. Oceanside was led by Mike Norton 19 and Nate Raye 13.
