Medomak Valley boys basketball team defeated Camden Hills 62-46 in the Panthers den on Dec. 11. Camden led briefly in the first quarter, before the Panthers scored eight straight, including back to back threes from Patrick McKenney and Jake Bickmore to take the lead for good. Camden pulled within one in the second and the third period. Medomak led 42-36 at the end of three. Camden pulled within four with 5:48 to go. Trevor Brown scored 10 points in the final quarter and Gabe Allaire had five steals in the frame to lead the Panthers.
Medomak was led by McKenney with 17 points, Brown 16 and Allaire 10. Camden was led by Jeremy Fraser with 13.
Medomak girls defeated Camden on the road 54-29.
