Medomak Valley boys’ and girls’ soccer teams played for the KVAC title Thursday in Augusta. This is the first time both teams have advanced to the finals in the same year. The last time the girls played for a league championship was in 1991.
The boys lost 4-1 to Camden, a team they split with during the regular season. The girls lost to Winslow 3-2.
Both teams get a bye in East B playoff action.
