Medomak softball rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh inning, to snap a 6-6 tie, to win 9-6 over Leavitt in their KVAC opener on April 23 in the Hornet’s nest. Addie Jameson started, and Gabby DePatsy closed out the game for the win. The duo gave up zero walks in the win.
Medomak collected five hits in the win. Emily Wotton hit a double, and DePatsy, Abby Nelson, Hallie Kunesh, and Sadie Cohen added a hit each. Leavitt was led by Cassidy Murch with three singles, and Emily Swann, Annika Mitchell and Hope Hutchinson two singles each,
