Medomak Valley softball defeated Lincoln Academy 3-0 on May 9 at Foster Field in Waldoboro. Aubrey Schaeffer collected the win. Kortney McKenna took the loss for the Eagles.
Medomak scored two runs in the second on a Gabby DePatsy single, Abby Nelson RBI bunt single, and Josie Jameson RBI sacrifice fly. They added a run in the fifth when Emily Wotton hit a clutch single, stole to third and scored on a throwing error.
DePatsy had two hits for Medomak, and Wotton and Nelson one each. Belle Sawyer hit a double for the Eagles, Christine Hilton two singles, and Cagney O’Brien one.
