Medomak Valley softball defeated Belfast 14-2 in five innings on Friday. Freshman Gabby DePatsy collected the win (6H,2K,1B). The Panthers opened up the game with 8 runs in the third inning, scored off 4 hit batters, 4 walks and a RBI single to Abby Nelson and two run double to DePatsy. Hitting for Medomak were DePatsy with a homerun and double, Hallie Kunesh a double and two run triple, and Stephanie Hill a double and single. Belfast was led by Casey Thayer with a two run homerun, triple and single.
Medomak baseball lost 7-4 to Belfast Friday in Belfast. The Panthers are currently sitting one spot out of the playoffs. They play East B top seed Oceanside on Monday.
