Messalonskee robbed the Panthers den for a 45-44 win on Jan. 15. Medomak led 15-13 at the quarter, before the Eagles went on a 15-2 run in the second quarter to take a 28-17 lead at the half. Trailing by 13 early in the third period, Medomak rallied with a 16-3 run to run to pull within one by quarter’s end, 33-32.
Medomak led by one with two minutes to play, before Allyssa Turner stole the ball on three straight Medomak possessions. She scored a three point play at the line then hit another foul shot with 25 seconds left for a three point Messalonskee lead. Gabby DePatsy pulled Medomak within one with eight seconds left. The Panthers put Turner on the line with five seconds left, where she made both shots. Medomak drove inside with Lydia Simmons scoring as time ran out.
Medomak was led by DePatsy 26 and Simmons 10. Messalonskee was led by Turner with 19 and Gabrielle Wener 13.
