Midcoast 15 Babe Ruth all-stars defeated Portland twice in preliminary action at Rockport to advance to the State championships next weekend in Portland.
Scores were: Midcoast 6 – Portland 4; Augusta 15 – Coastal North 8; Augusta 11 – Midcoast 5; and, Midcoast 5 – Portland 4.
