Medomak Valley runners Gwen Moiles and Kiana Ocean medalled at the State Class B indoor track and field championships on Monday, at Bates College in Lewiston. Moiles took 6th in the mile in 5:40.4, and Ocean placed 7th in the mile in 5:59.69.
Moiles won the mile at the KVAC championships a week earlier. Julie Ennamorati won the KVAC 55 dash. The Lady Panthers also won the 4 x 800 relay with Moiles, Ocean, Megan Wyllie, and Taylor Keefe.
