Morse softball defended their home turf for a 6-0 win over Medomak Valley on May 1. Dory Kulis struck out 10 in the win. Gabby DePatsy took the loss in two innings of work (6R), and Addie Jameson pitched five shutout innings in relief.
Hitting for Medomak were Lydia Simmons with a double, and Cassie Smeltzer, A. Jameson and Emily Wotton a single each. Hitting for the Shipbuilders were Abby Carpenter with a homerun and single (2RBI), and Micailah Albertson, Kali Pierce and Julia Goddard a single each. Brooke Kulis drove in two runs.
