The rain started soon after Morse and Lincoln softball teams hit the diamond. with 45 degree temperatures and steady rain, the game was called after five innings, with the Shipbuilders on top 3-1. Grace Houghton struck out nine in the loss. Dory Kulis collected the win.
Grace Houghon singled in the second and her pinch runner Maddy Bradbury scored on a Lizzie Ober triple.
Hitting for Morse were Paige Faulkingham ( 1 RBI) with two singles, Alli Alaboudi a RBI double, and Abigail Carpenter, Kulis , Julia Goddard and Hailie Johnson a single each.
Lincoln and Morse baseball went four and a third innings before being called for dangerous wet conditions. The game will be made up on Friday.
