Mt.Ararat defeated Lincoln Academy boys basketball team 62-17 on Dec. 21 in Newcastle. La stayed with Mt.Ararat in first quarter action, trailing 13-9, before the visitors rattled off the first nine points of the second frame on their way to a 20-2 run to put the game away.
Mt.Ararat was led by Jared Balser with 22 points, Austin Damon 11 and Will Kavanaugh 10. Lincoln was led by Joe Giberson and Sullivan Fink with 6 each.
