Lincoln Academy freshman Kara Mullin and sophomore Valeska Vaughn continue to rewrite the Eagle record books this week. Mullin broke the 200 free record in 2:14.28, and Vaughn broke the 100 free record in 1:01.74.
Lincoln girls won a three-team meet at home on Dec. 18, beating Winslow 53-35 and Wiscasset 62-4. The Eagle boys took second, falling to Winslow 56-32 and beating Wiscasset 35-34.
Mullin won the 200 free in a record 2:14.28 and was 2nd in the 100 fly in 1:12. Vaughn won the 100 free in record time 1:01.74 and was 2nd in the 200 free in 2:16. Fisher won the 200 IM in 2:54 and was 3rd in the 100 free in 1:12. MacDonald won the 50 free in 31.98 and the 100 breast in 1:36. Jackson was 2nd in the 200IM in 3:08 and 2nd in 100 back in 1:23. Schroeder was 2nd in the 100 breast in 1:41 and 4th in the 50 free in 35.43.
Haley Grant placed 3rd in the 50 free in 34.63 for Wiscasset. Teammates Lauren Trudeau was 5th in the 50 free in 35.66 and Alyssa Urquhart was 5th I the 100 free in 1:39.
Hadden won the 200IM in 2:26 and was 2nd in the 100 free in 54.42. Huntington was 2nd in the 50 free in 24.53 and 3rd in the 100 back in 1:11. Severance was 2nd in the 100 fly in 1:27 and 3rd I the 500 free in 7:25. Han-lalime was 6th in the 100 free in 1:13. Peter Wells was 6th in the 50 free in 38.47.
Wiscasset won the 200 free relay in 1:44 with Joe Chapman, Brian Campbell, Ryan Urquhart and Ross Hanley.
Hanley won the 50 free in 23.94 and was 2nd in the 100 breast in 1:16. John McLeod won the 100 free in 53.48 and the 100 back in 1:05. Campbell was 2nd in the 500 free in 7:18 and 3rd in the 200 IM in 2:43. Chapman was 5th in the 50 free in 33.78. Urquhart was 5th in the 100 free in 1:10.
