Lincoln girls beat Wiscasset 71-14 and Winslow 68-21. LA boys and Wiscasset girls lost to all three teams. Wiscasset boys and Winslow scored 72 points each and Wiscasset lost to Mt. Ararat and Lincoln.
Kara Mullin set a new LA team record in the 200 free in 2:11.92. Mullin won the 100 fly in 1:09 and was second in the 200 free. Ziegra won the 100 back in 1:10 and was second in the 200 IM in 2:31.
Konitzky won the 100 breast stroke in 1:22 and was third in the 100 fly in 1:15. Stegna took second in the 500 free in 7:20 and third in the 50 free in 32.84. Pennington was second in the 100 breast in 1:32 and third in the 100 free in 1:07.
MacDonald placed third in the 200 free in 2:46 and fourth in the 100 back in 1:33. Boe was fourth in the 500 free in 8:09 and fifth in the 200 IM in 3:33 Whitaker was fifth in the 50 free in 34.0 and sixth in the 100 free in 1:19.
The Lady Eagles won the 200 medley relay in 2:12 with Konitzky, Mullin and Ziegra (4th swimmer not listed); second in the 200 free relay in 1:55 with Mullin, Boe, Konitzky and Ziegra; third in the 400 free relay in 5:01 with Stegna, Whitaker, Boe and Pennington; and fourth in the 200 free relay in 2:23 with Stegna, Whitaker, Ziegra and Pennington.
For Wiscasset girls, Hanley was second in the 50 free in 29.39; Morin second in the 100 free in 1:06 and sixth in the 50 free in 35.68; Urquhart was fifth in the 200 free in 3:30 and sixth in the 100 breast; and Foster was eighth in the 100 free in 1:42.
WHS girls were fifth in the 400 free in 6:02 with Hanley, Morin, Urquhart and Foster.
McLeod won the 200 free in 2:03 and 50 free in 23.69 for Wiscasset boys. Ross Hanley won the 100 back in 1:04 and the 200 IM in 2:13. Urquhart won the 100 free in 1:03 and was fifth in the 100 back in 1:24. Ryan Hanley took second in the 100 fly in 1:11 and 500 free in 6:20.
Campbell was third in the 100 fly in 1:12 and fifth in the 100 back in 1:24. Matt Mills took fifth in the 100 breast in 1:40. Josh DeLong was fifth in 100 free in 1:11 and sixth in 50 free in 31.31.
Wiscasset boys won the 200 free relay in 1:41 with Ross and Ryan Hanley, Campbell and McLeod; won the 400 free relay in 3:50 with the same four; and were fifth in the 200 free relay in 22:10 with DeLong, Mills, Jason Berry and Urquhart.
In Lincoln boys’ action, Josh Andrews was fourth in the 200 free in 2:40 and fourth in the 50 free in 28.93; Abbotoni was sixth in the 100 breast in 1:42; Meader took seventh in the 100 free in 1:32 and 100 breast in 1:53; Han-Lalime was fourth in the 500 free in 7:33; Poland seventh in the 100 back in 2:08; and Luke Levesque eighth in the 50 free in 37.14.
Lincoln boys placed third in the 400 free in 5:43 with Abbotoni, Han-Lalime, Meader and Poland; and sixth in the 200 free relay in 2:18 with Andrews, Han-Lalime, Poland and Levesque.
For Lincoln girls, Heidi Ziegra and Kara Mullin won two races each, and Olivia Delisle one. The Lady Eagles also won the 200 free relay. Wiscasset boys won the 200 medley and 200 free relays, and Lincoln girls the 200 free relay.
Lewiston won both the girls’ and the boys’ meet, with Wiscasset boys and Lincoln girls placing second. Lewiston girls scored 101, Lincoln 92 and Wiscasset 18. Lewiston boys scored 96, Wiscasset 75 and Lincoln 38.
Ten swimmers qualified for the state meet in events marked (SQ)
Wiscasset won the 200 MR in 1:52 with Ryan and Ross Hanley, McLeod and Campbell, and the 200 free relay. They placed 4th in the 400 free relay in 4:59 with Urquhart, Jason Berry, Thomas Beutler and Ryan Hanley.
The Eagles took 3rd in the 200 free relay in 2:00 with Han-Lalime, Forrest Meader, Andrews and Hadden; 4th in the 200 free relay in 2:18 with Thomas Beutler, Josh DeLong, Matt Mills and Jason Berry; 5th in the 400 free relay in 5:50 with Tyler Abbotoni, Poland, Andrew Arter and Levesque; and 6th in the 200 free relay in 2:47 with Levesque, Arter, Zaidi and Abbotoni.
The Eagles won the 200 free relay in 1:55 with Mullin, Stegna, Ziegra and Konitzky; were 2nd in the 200 medley relay in 2:10 with Ziegra, Stegna, Delisle and Mullin; 2nd in the 100 free relay in 4:43 with Delisle, MacDonald, Pennington and Konitzky, and 3rd in the 200 free relay in 2:11 with MacDonald, Pennington, Whitaker and Boe.
Wiscasset girls placed 3rd in the 400 free relay in 5:25 and 5th in the 200 free relay in 2:29 with Foster, Morin, Urquhart and Hanley.
