The Mt.Valley Conference announced fall sports award on Wed., Oct. 26. Awards by sport are as follows:
Field hockey: MVC 1st Team Sydney Meader (Boothbay); 2nd Team Page Brown (BB); and Honorable Mention Erica Eames (BB) and Jo Shaw (BB).
Boys soccer: MVC 2nd Team Russell Marr (Wiscasset), Ethan James (W), Brandon Goud (W), and Kevin Lynch (W); and Honorable Mention Aidan Carlson (W) and Alex Strozier (W).
Girls soccer: MVC 1st Team Gabby Chapman (W) and Regan Cola (B); and Honorable Mention Angie Perkins (B), Hannah Cola (B), Grace Webber (W), and Maeve Blodgett (W).
Boy cross Country: MVC 1st Team Kyle Ames (B), Blake Erhard (B), Brandon Goud )W), and Will Perkins (B); 2nd Team Rowen Kristen (B), and Bayley Gaughan-Carrasco (B); Honorable Mention Will LaBrecque (BB), Gage Varian (W), and Sam Betts (BB). Boothbay coach Nick Scott was name MVC Boys Coach of the Year.
Girls cross country: Fatih Blethen (B) was named MVC girls Runner of the Year and named to the MVC 1st team. Named to the 2nd Team were Lauren Genrich (B), and Kate Friant (B), and Honorable Mention Evy Case (B).
MVC All Academic awards go to Wiscasset student athletes Jenna Bickford, Gabby Chapman, Aidan Carlson, Brandon Goud, Grant Hefler, Stephanie Jones, Colon Ranta, Nicole Thibeault, Brooke Wagstaff, and Nate Woodman; and Boothbay Region student athletes Sam Betts, Nicole Clark, Erica Eames, Kate Friant, Angelique Perkins, Molly Thibault, and Alexis Welch.
