The Medomak Valley Holiday Basketball Classic tournament will be held on Fri., Dec. 26 and Sat., Dec 27. Admission is $5 for a day pass. The tournament is sponsored by MVHS all Sports Boosters. A concession stand will be open each day.
“On behalf of the MVHS All-Sports Boosters, I would like to thank the local sponsors, The First, Hillside Collision, Camden National, Sunset Knoll and Landscape, and Friendship Trap; and the competing schools for continuing to support this annual holiday classic,” MVHS athletic director Matt Lash said. “It provides quality competition for our local schools. With the current financial constraints, it allows us to continue holiday exhibitions with much less travel for our friends in the Midcoast. We are very excited that we finally have all eight Midcoast schools represented. The Midcoast basketball fans are in for a treat.”

7:30 p.m. Medomak girls vs. Freeport
10:30 a.m. Boothbay girls vs. Belfast
12 noon Wiscasset girls vs. Camden
1:30 p.m. Wiscasset boys vs. Lincoln Academy
3 p.m. Freeport girls vs. Rockland
