Medomak Valley High Sschool will dedicate its home baseball dugout in honor of longtime RSU 40 teacher, coach, announcer, and board member Dennis Wooster. The dedication ceremony will be held Monday, July 1 at 5 p.m.
Wooster served the district from 1972-2017. He was a respected and talented local umpire for 51 years and a member of the KLW Umpires Association beginning in 1967. He umpired countless playoff, regional, and state games at all levels.
MVHS asks the public to attend as it dedicates the dugout prior to the final regular-season home game of the Union Farm Equipment Babe Ruth team at MVHS. First pitch vs. Newcastle is at 5:30 p.m.
