The Medomak Valley High School cheerleaders won their third consecutive Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference championship at the Augusta Civic Center on Monday, Jan. 16.
The title is Medomak Valley’s fifth in seven years. Heather Simmons coaches the team. The Panthers scored 82.1 points with their near perfect routine. Leavitt was second with 71.1, followed by 3. Morse 64.2; 4. Erskine Academy, 62.5; 5. Gardiner, 58.3; 6. Waterville, 54.4; 7. Spruce Mountain, 51.8; 8. Winslow, 50.8; 9. Mt.View 50.5; 10. Nokomis, 39.9; and 11. Lincoln Academy, 37.4.
