Nokomis out scored Lincoln Academy girls’ basketball team 26-10 in the second half to win 54-36 in Newport on Jan. 3. The Lady Eagles jumped out to a 13-7 first quarter lead, and trailed by two at the half, 28-26. Anna MacKenzie came off the bench in the second period and dominated the boards and scored 18 points to lead the Warriors come back bid.
