Oceanside boys soccer team robbed the Eagles nest for a 3-2 overtime win on Oct. 22. Kolya Philbrook gave the Mariners the lead 10 minutes into the game. Lincoln looked to tie with ten minutes to play in the half, but the goal was called back due to offsides. Jack Duncan scored the neutralizer with 47 seconds remaining in the half when he drilled a shot to the upper left corner.
Philbrook recaptured the lead in the second half, before the Eagles knotted the score with 2:22 to play on a shot from Duncan to force OT. Nate Coombs scored the game winner with 1:32 to play in overtime.
