Chloe Jones scattered six hits and struck out 11 to lead the Mariners to a 3-0 win over Medomak in their KVAC softball finale on May 29 in Waldoboro. Gabby DePatsy fired up 13 strikeouts, four hits and four walks in the loss.
Abby Vellieux led Oceanside with three singles and three runs scored, and Rachel Joyce added a RBI single in the third. Hitting for Medomak were Sadie Cohen with two singles, and Maddy White, Hallie Kunesh, DePatsty and Abby Nelson with one each.
