Medomak Valley cross-country team members Patrick O’Donnell and Gwen Moiles won the MVHS 5K Road Race. “We had a great turnout for the race, and will put the proceeds into our trail fund,” MVHS cross-country coach George Gould said.
Volunteers have worked tirelessly on improving the trail in the past year, and continue to make improvements. “Mr. Lash is gaining on his goal of making our cross-country trail one of the best in Maine,” Gould added.
O’Donnell won in 18:22, beating out Panther teammate Josh Anderson by over a minute. Moiles won the girls’ division in 21:37, beating out Pam Wallace by 1:05.
