With a one point lead, Gardiner went to the line with six seconds to play and missed the front half of a one on one. The Panthers came away with the rebound and got the outlet pass to Micah Williamson. The Tigers fouled Williamson, who went to the line and sank his first shot to knot the score and force overtime.
The Panthers outscored Gardiner 7-6 in OT, led by four points from Colton Spear, and a big three-pointer from Nicholas DePatsy. The two teams matched basket for basket. Weston went to the line for Gardiner and made one shot to give the Tigers a one point lead. Spear scored inside on a Williamson pass for the winning basket.
