Medomak Valley and Lincoln Academy boys soccer teams locked into a 2-2 double overtime tie Saturday afternoon during the Panthers Homecoming.
The Eagles took a 1-0 lead less than four minutes into the contest when Linus Lindbuechl found net on a little scramble. Medomak tied the game with 25:40 to play in the half when Wyatt Post converted a pass from Zach Cheesman. Post game the Panthers the lead three minutes into the second half on a collision with Lincoln keeper Sam Laemmle. The ball bounced free, and Post tipped it in.
Lincoln knotted the score with just under 13 minutes to play on a through pass from Jorge Pulido Hernadez. Lincoln missed a penalty kick with 14.4 seconds left in the second overtime, ending the game in a tie.
