Medomak Valley baseball defeated Lincoln Academy 4-0 in a rain shortened game on June 2. in Newcastle. Ryan Creamer (4K,1H) collected the win for the Panthers, and Baker Gove(4H,6K) took the loss for the Eagles.
Cameron Robinson drove in a run in Duncan Widdecombe with a sacrifice bunt in the third inning. Jordan Powell walked, Robinson reached on catcher’s interference and Brent Stewart on a fielder’s choice to load up the bases in the fifth. Adam Eutsler walked in a run, Creamer scored Robinson on a sacrifice bunt, and Gabe Allaire singled in Stewart.
Gus Hunt had the only hit for the Eagles, a third inning infield single.
Allaire had two hits for Medomak, and Widdecombe and Powell a single each.
