“We defended really well in the third. We got their big kid Ben Johnson in foul trouble, and we held him and Pat Norwood scoreless in the second half,” coach Nick DePatsy said of the Bears top two scorers. “It was a total team effort. It is a good win for us, it should bump us up to fourth or fifth,” DePatsy added of heal points.
DePatsy said Kevin Fogg and Dan Aubel shot well in first half action, and Alex MacKenzie and Alex Goldrup in the second half. The Panthers made 11 of 15 foul shot attempts.
