Wiscasset and Boothbay Region track and field athletes traveled to Foxcroft Academy to compete in the hot and humid State Class C championships on Saturday. Boothbay’s Jessie Vander won the girls shot put (35’2″) and took second in the discus (104’3″). Wiscasset’s Dale Peaslee placed in three events, taking third in the long jump (21’11”), fifth in the triple jump (40’2.25″), and sixth in the 400 in 54.06.
