Medomak Valley boys placed fourth in the State Class B track and field championships at Mt.Desert Island on Saturday. The Panthers scored 50 points, led by Yannick Price-Prevot with 21 points, and Jonathan Hendrickson Belloguet with 13 points.
H-Bellgouet qualified for New Englands in the triple jump, and P-Prevot qualified for New Englands in the discus and shot put.
Senior Yannick Price-Prevot won the State Class B discus championship with a throw of 138’8″. P-Prevot is the State runner-up in the shot put with a new school record of 50’10.5″ He also placed 5th in the javelin with a throw of 154’2″.
Hendrickson-Belloguet was State B runner-up in the triple jump (42′)). He placed 4th in the 200m dash in 23.54, and 7th in the 100m dash in 11.63. H-Bellgouet also ran a leg on Medomak’s 5th place 4×100 relay in 46.0 seconds with Panther teammates Vinnie Vannah, Boone Olson and Stefan Nicholls.
