Oak Hill defeated the winless Wiscasset girls basketball team 68-44 Monday night in Wiscasset. The Lady Wolverines out rebounded the Raiders 48-24, but struggled from the floor and against an aggressive Oak Hill half court trap.
Wiscasset led in the first quarter, before Oak Hill went on a 11-4 run to end the frame with a 15-10 lead. The Raiders led 29-21 at the half, and 43-29 at the end of three.
Scoring for Wiscasset were Kayla Gordon 15 (9R), Briana Goud 8 (14R,3A,3S), Miranda McIntire 6 (6R,2A,2S), Hanna Foye 5 (5R,2S), Tylan Onorato 3 (8R,3A), Kasey Cromwell 3 (5R), Rachel Berry 2, and Hanna Campbell 2. Scoring for Oak Hill were Sadie Goulet 15 (5R,2S), Hayley Marshall 14 (3S), Kelsey Collins 12, Jamie Prue 10 (5S), Brianna Mulherin 7, Danielle Samson 4, Lauren Beganny 3, Grace Sabine 2, and Meagan Crosby 2.
