The annual LA Boosters auction will be held on Sat., Nov. 16 in the Lincoln Academy dining commons on Academy Hill in Newcastle. The silent auction begins at 4 p.m., the live auction at 5 p.m. Auctioneer John Bottero has once again volunteered his time.
A wide range of auction items is expected. Items are still being collected, and a list will appear in the Nov. 14 issue of The Lincoln County News.
Two big ticket items include a bat autographed by Red Sox third baseman Xander Bogaerts, and a baseball signed by retired Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek, a member of the 2004 and 2007 World Series championship teams.
