Great Salt Bay Community School runner Sam Russ won the 2014 Busline League cross-country championship Monday, Oct. 20 at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast. Russ beat out second-place runner Brendan Moline, of Troy Howard, by 21 seconds.
The Camden boys team won with 42 points, followed by Boothbay 54, Lincolnville 78, GSB 108, Troy Howard 110, Oceanside 148, Medomak 180, and Appleton 225.

Augusta Stockman won the girls race in 13:02 to pace Camden Hills to a victory in Busline girls cross-country championship action. Camden scored 28 points, followed by Boothbay 38, Lincolnville 64, Troy Howard 123, Appleton 144, and GSB 168.
