Searsport defeated the defending West D champions Wiscasset baseball on Wednesday, 3-0 in a West Class D quarter-final match-up.
Troy Reynolds struck out 13 and gave up just two hits in the win. Tyler Bailey took the loss for Wiscasset (6K,1B,3H).
The Vikings scored two runs on three errors in the first inning. They added a run in the fifth when Barrett Grant hit a triple to right and scored on a Conner Kneeland sacrifice fly.
Hitting for Wiscasset were Daren Wood and Matt Craig with a single each.
