Seven athletes from Wiscasset Middle High School and Boothbay Region High School placed at the State Class C championships on June 1, at Mt.Blue High School in Farmington.
Boothbay’s 4×800 relay were Class C runner-ups with Fox Elder, Graham Harris, Blake Erhard and Will Perkins running a leg.
Erhard placed second in the 400. Perkins took fifth in the 3200 and sixth in the 1600.
Wiscasset’s Cedric Loyola was State Class C runner-up in the triple jump. Matt Chapman placed in two events for the Wolverines, taking third in the 110 high hurdles and fourth in the 300 hurdles.
Lady Seahawk Ava Schlosser placed seventh in the 1600m racewalk. Kate Wickline placed seventh in the 1600m run.
