Wiscasset boys’ basketball rallied from behind to beat St. Dom’s 43-42 on Dec. 13, on a three-pointer at the buzzer from freshman JD Souza.
“It was a fairly close ballgame all the way through, with a couple of lead changes in the fourth quarter. We were down by two. They missed the front end of a one-on-one with 5.2 seconds to play,” coach Dana Lawrence said.
“We had our best three-point shooters lined up ready to go into the game and tried to call time-out to get them in,” Lawrence said.
