Camden Hills defeated Medomak Valley boys basketball team 69-48 in the East B semifinals at the Bangor Auditorium on Wed., Feb. 17.
The two teams battled for the lead in the first quarter with five lead changes. Camden’s Cameron Gartley hit a big three with two seconds left to give the Jammers the lead for good.
Camden led 33-24 at the half. Both teams made 10 baskets from the floor in the first half, the difference in the half was Camden sank four 3-pointers and Medomak one, and the Panthers made three of three foul shots, and Camden eight of 12.
Medomak made only one of 12 shots from the floor in the third period, including missing their first seven shots. The Windammers netted 23 in the third to put the game out of reach of the Panthers.
Camden was led by Tyler McFarland 23, Keegan Pieri 15, Cameron Gartley 9 and Joel Gabriele 8. Medomak was led by Alex MacKenzie 14, and Isaac Greenrose 13.
