Spruce Mountain jumped out to a 5-0 lead in their season finale in Wiscasset on May 30. Wiscasset rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull within two. Spruce Mountain held on for a 5-3 win.
Zach Ellison took the loss, and Hall collected the win.
Chadwick and Darin Wood reached on errors. Dylan McMahon reached and all three scored. Cody Graves hit a single in the rally.
Hitting for Wiscasset were Wood with three singles, and Chandler Longfellow, Graves and Chadwick a single each. Hitting for Spruce Mountain were Preble with three, Kennen two and McKenna and Hamlin one each.
Wiscasset finishes the season at 5-11 and seeded 12th in West Class C, one spot out of the playoffs.
