Central Lincoln Area Wrestling (CLAW) wrestler Adam St. Cyr (50 lbs.) won his pee wee division at the Marshwood New England Wrestling Tournament held at the Cross Center in Portland, April 4.
Grady Pease (60) placed second and David Winchenbach (65) fourth.
St. Cyr finishes the season with a 46-8 record. Pease finished with a 18-5 record and Winchenbach with a 26-18 record. All three wrestlers are from Jefferson where St. Cyr and Winchenbach are in the second grade and Pease is in the first grade.
St. Cyr defeated Murphy Codding (KY), and Jeremy Desrochers (OH) to advance to the championship round, where he defeated Ayden Cofone (Wes) to win the tournament.
Pease defeated Andrew Flagara (Chelm) and Talon Perkins (Man Y) to advance to the championship round, where he lost to Cooper Wiebe (Fit) to take second.
Winchenbach won two matches and lost two matches, beating Jack Smith (Chel) and Tyler Vadnaies (Ber) and losing to Jeremy Miocek (Sal) and Jack Smith (Che).
CLAW had nine wrestlers compete in the Marshwood New England’s. Trever Hall (42) beat Bryce Horton (Sk) and lost to Cooper Smith (Mas) and Austin Henault (Lin).
Shamus Pease (59) lost to Andrew Steven (CLCF) and Chandler Robichaud (MtA).
Jayden Lafrenaye (83) lost to Kayden Kimball (Rid) and Zachary Methot (Bill).
Hunter Brewer (79) beat Duce Addison (Lin, RI) and lost to Joseph Gangi (Sal) and Calvin Peck (Nok).
Ryan Powell (40) lost to Alex Harriman (Mas) and Nickolas Waterman (Mar).
Blake Grady (80) lost to Even Ray (Keene, N.H.) and Santino Cavallaro (Por).
