Starts June 22
The Summer Run for Fun starts on June 22 at Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro.
Since 2011 the Summer Run for Fun has been a summer running staple for many Mid Coast runners of all ages.
Whether a seasoned runner or beginner, there will be a weekly cross-country challenge for all ages this summer at Medomak Valley High School.
If you want a mid week speed workout or just a casual trail run this is the series for you!
Participants will gather for weekly runs with the option of completing 1, 2 or 3 miles.
The program, which is held at 6 p.m and the dates are June 22, 29, July 6, 13, 20 and 27.
The fee is $15 for the entire six week program.
The program will be at the Medomak Valley Neil W. Lash Nature Trail, with participants meeting by the Medomak Valley High School track. The course has become one of the state’s best as it weaves in and out of the forested area behind Medomak Middle School and MVHS.
