Union Little League defeated Washington 11-1 in five innings on June 19 to win the first Medomak Valley Little League championship. Union defeated Washington two out of three times in the regular season and once in the playoffs going into the championship game.
Travis Wyman went the distance for Union in the win (7K,1B,3H,1R). Gabe Allaire took the loss (3I,4H,6K,4B,5R) and Joey Horovitz (2I,1K,1HP,6H,6R).
