The Waldoboro Panthers grade 4-6 cheerleaders, and the Medomak Riverhawks Junior High team placed first at the 2013 Maine State Cheering Championships on Saturday at the Bangor Auditorium. Waldoboro Panthers won the Pee Wee Division I championships, and the Medomak Riverhawks won the Junior High School Division 3 championship.
