Waterville girls defeated Medomak Valley girls basketball team in overtime on Jan. 6 in Waldoboro. Medomak rallied from behind, out scoring the Purple Panthers 13-7 in the fourth quarter. Gabby DePatsy hit a 3-pointer with 25 seconds left to send the game to overtime. Jordan Jabar hit two late foul shots in overtime to secure the win for Waterville. Jabar led Waterville with 19 points. Medomak was led by Hallie Kunesh and Chelsea Ripley with 11 each.
