Whitefield Fire Department members and police officers from all over Lincoln County came together Friday night to play in two benefit basketball games. All proceeds will go to children’s sports programs through the Whitefield Athletic Association.
Game one saw the Whitefield Athletic Association defeat the fire department 44-39 in a come-from-behind effort.
In game two, the combined town police departments from all over Lincoln County defeated the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
