Wiscasset baseball defeated Valley 10-0 by five run mercy ruling in a West Class D playoff game Wednesday in Wiscasset. Daren Wood struck out seven in three shutout innings of work, and Tyler Bailey five in two innings for the save. Wood drove in three runs and Grant Hefler and Tyler Flavin two each in the win,. Cody Laweryson had the only hit for Valley.
