Wiscasset hosted their second track and field meet of the season on May 6. Nate Austin won the shot put (37’8″). Gabby Chapman took 2nd in the girls long jump (13’8.5″). Sam Storer placed 5th in two events, the 100m in 13.21, and the long jump (16’2″). Brandon Goud took 5th in the 3200 in 13:11.
Lady Seahawk Morgan Crocker won four events, the 100 hurdles in 17.34, 300 hurdles in 50.96, long jump (15’4.5″) and triple jump (32’8.75″). Sophia Thayer won the 1600 in 5:51 and 3200 in 13:02. Sara Durgan won the 100m dash in 14.75.
Simead Miller took 2nd in the 100 hurdles in 19.41 and 3rd in 300 hurdles in 57.73. Angie Perkins was 2nd in the 300 hurdles in 56.17, and high jump (4’6″). Nell Anthony was 2nd in javelin (76’11”) and shot put (25’5″), 3rd in long jump (13’2.5″) and 3rd in discus (65’6″). Hannah Morley was 3rd in the 1600 in 5:51 and 3200 in 13:02. Lisa Pawlowski was 4th in the 200 in 33.52 and high jump (4’6″). Hannah Brewer was 3rd in the high jump (4’6″) and triple jump (26’7.75″), and 5th in long jump (17’8″). Samantha Carter took 4th in the shot put (21’5″) and 5th in javelin (66’3″). Allie Simmons was 4th in discus (61’3″) and 5th in shot put (20’1.5″).
Boothbay boys won the 4×100 relay in 50.16, and 4×400 in 3:57, and took 2nd in the 4×800 in 9:29. Abel Bryer won the javelin (125’5″), was 3rd in discus (98’2″), and 4th in shot put (35’9″). Shane Johnson won the discus (114’7″), and placed 4th in javelin (98’5″). Bennett Scully won the 800 in 2:12. Robert Campbell won the 3200 in 10:56.
Morgan Wilson took 2nd in the racewalk in 9:11, Kyla Alamo 3rd in 9:12, and Chris Groney 4th in 10:57. Nick Kilgus was 2nd in the long jump (17’10.75″) and 3rd in triple jump (34′ 10.75″). Lucas Leighton took 3rd in the shot put (34′.05″) and Tony Hammond 5th (35’9″). Dima Gosselin was 3rd in the 100m in 12.89 and 4th in 200 in 26.42.
Alamo took 4th in the 3200 in 12:21. Joey Paolillo was 3rd in the 1600 in 5:00 and 800 in 2:16. Matt Burnham was 3rd in the 3200 in 11:12. Howie Carter was 4th in the 200 in 26.77 and 5th in 400 in 1:00.
