Darren Winchenbach, 32 of Waldoboro, beat out Jonathan Hendrickson-Belloguet by three seconds to win the Friendship Day 5K on Saturday. Winchenbach won in a time of 19:18. Barbara Daggett was the first female finisher in 22:18 and placed 13th overall in a field of 77 walkers and runners.
