Wiscasset boys’ alumni handled the varsity team 68-37 Saturday in the traditional Thanksgiving weekend match-up. Sixteen alumni played in the game, giving them fresh legs to take on the younger Redskins.
The alumni settled six three-pointers in the game, three from Josh Hopkins, two from Josh Sonia and one from Matt McRae.
Unofficial scoring for the Wiscasset Alumni was Matt Hinkley 12, Sonia 10, Hopkins 10, Matt McRae 7, Cody Griffin 6, Nick Bennett 4, Scotty James 4, Ben Matzell 2, Alex Slack 2, Sumner Averill 2, Mitchell DeCosta 2, Dylan Connors 2, Jimmy Davis 2 and Nick Hinkley 2. Also playing were Gerard Murphy and Brad Richardson.
