Wiscasset boys soccer team picked up their first win of the season on a long road trip to Dirigo on Sept. 13. The Wolverines clipped the Cougars 4-3 in double overtime. Max Sampson scored three goals including the game winner from 20 yards out, when he collected a defensive clear and put it to the upper right corner.
Matt Chapman scored the first goal of the game for Wiscasset. Scoring for Dirigo were John Snowman, Zeb Houghton and Mateo Lapointe.
